Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Trouble shooting mechanical and electrical problems with highway diesel vehicles.
- Conducting CVIP inspections on trucks and trailers.
- Performing diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on customer vehicles.
- Ordering parts, recording POs and arranging pick up or delivery with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate with other mechanics and shop staff.
We are looking for an individual who:
- Works well without direct supervision.
- Capable of navigating shop management software.
- Organized and able to multitask.
- Professional in communicating with customers, vendors, co-workers and contractors.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic (Truck and Transport)
- 3rd year Apprentice may be considered
- CVIP Certification preferred
- Class 5 Driver’s License
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Criminal Record Check

- Perform work within Standard Repair Times
- Perform work in accordance with established safety procedures
Qualifications
- 3rd or 4th Year Heavy Equipment Apprentice
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Criminal Record Check
- Experience on Highway trucks an asset
